DeTar Volunteer Services generously gave a $5,000 donation to the Victoria College Foundation. The funds will be used as scholarships for students pursuing nursing.
In making the award, Yvette Peuttus, DeTar's Senior Circle/Volunteer Coordinator noted “Our Auxiliary is proud to donate to Victoria College’s allied health programs to help students further their education and help relieve some of the financial expenses while attending college to earn their certificate or degree.” She added, "DeTar is also very proud of the Auxiliary for the many ways they give back to the community and the many volunteer hours they provide to our patients, visitors and hospitals.”
